Quite honestly, we have so many beautiful pieces of jewellery that would make great gifts for Valentines Day, its difficult to know where to start! So, with that in mind, I’ve decided to split my top picks into price categories, so you can see at a glance just how far your money will stretch.

£5 and Under

Sterling Silver Pendant Four Leaf Clover – VPS 2049 and Pastel Pink Card Earring/ Small Universal Box – 994 270

A four-leaf clover makes such a lovely gesture and is something a little different if you don’t want to go for anything too obvious. This one measures just over 1cm and would be equally suitable as a charm or a pendant with a slight alteration to the jump ring. Amazingly, you can buy both the box and the pendant for just under £5, making a cost effective but cute gift.

£5 – £10

Sterling Silver Pendant Medium Dog Tag – VPS 2043 and Sterling Silver 1.2mm Ball Chain 18″/45cm Unhallmarked – VV3 60H

A universally popular choice for both men and women is the classic ‘army style’ dog tag and ball chain, which bought together, come in at under £10. The dog tag itself has a highly polished silver finish and measures 23mm x 13mm, perfect for engraving a special message, name or date. The 1.2mm ball chain is completely unisex but also a strong and substantial chain in its own right and it completes the look to a tee.

Swarovski Crystal Wild Heart, 6240, 27mm Rosaline – 62SWH40 and Cotton Cord Grey 1mm Round X 10 Metres – 998 1258

If you want something pretty but edgy, you can rely on Swarovski to deliver the goods and they don’t disappoint with this delicate ‘Wild Heart’ design. In a delicate lilac/pink shade, Rosaline is an ideal choice for Valentines Day. The threading hole is front facing and can be utilised in many ways (charms, earrings, beads etc) but for a quick and easy fix, I would simply thread through a piece of contrasting cotton cord, knot to secure, and wear as a pendant. A bargain at well under £10.

Up to £30

Sterling Silver Bangle 3.5mm Wide Hallmarked – XBS 2020

A plain silver bangle is a classic and best-selling design which won’t date and is going to suit even the fussiest of wearers. Weighing just over 11g and with a width of 3.5mm, this bangle is narrow enough to be stacked and layered but equally, substantial enough to wear as a stand alone piece, thus making it an extremely useful addition to any jewellery collection. The internal diameter is 65mm (the UK average) and it comes already hallmarked so is absolutely ready to give. The bangle itself is just under the £30 price bracket but for extra brownie points, why not add a box to complete the gift.

9ct Yellow Gold Valentine’s Day Filigree Heart Drop Earrings and Pendant Jewellery Gift Set – 1VP 027
